This is one of my all time greatest photos. A large specimen of Promachus hinei - Giant Robber Fly caught a male Erythemis simplicolis - Eastern Pondhawk. It's perched on a cattail head, leisurely drinking its catch (which is larger than it). This is the third species of dragonfly I've seen a Robber Fly eat. The other two were Libellula lydia (Common Whitetail) and Pachydiplax longipennis - Blue Dasher.

While you know I'm not a bug person, this picture is really amazing. You are a really talented photographer!
